The Africa Women Leadership Summit was created by women for women on the African Continent and beyond.

At AWLS, we know that there is power when women come together and agree to hold each other accountable. We purpose to grow intentionally and embrace the leadership roles that we were created to have.

We also abide by John C Maxwell's Law of  Influence which states that, The True Measure of Leadership Is Influence, Nothing More, Nothing Less. So whether you are in the corporate world, making an impact in the community or are an entrepreneur making money doing what you love or have taken time to work at home and serve your family, there is a place for you at the Africa Women Leadership Summit. 

The Africa Women Leadership Summit is an annual event. This year our virtual event will be help on 16th and 17th September 2022.  Our theme this year is A Seat At The Leadership Table.

During our time together, we will again remind ourselves that we have seats at various tables be it in the corporate world, the Communities we live and serve in or in the Business Space or in the Homes we live in. 

Our Keynote Speaker Dr. Gloria Burgess(PHD) is a TEDX Speaker, a Mentor at the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team. Dr. Gloria will speak to us on the topic Push For Your Worth At The Leadership Table. 

Sheila Braka Musiime a Harvard Law Graduate who is a Chief Counsel at the World Bank will speak to us on the topic of Owning Your Seat At The Leadership Table.

Dr. Eunice Adubango (PHD) a Lecturer, Entrepreneur, Author & Business Coach will take us through the subject of Building Financial Resilence.

Betty Ogiel Rubanga, a Maxwell Certified Leadership Coach, Author, HR Practitioner and Multiple Award Winner, will talk to us about the topic of The Power Of Asking At The Leadership Table.

Rosette Mugidde Wamambe, a Maxwell Certified Leadership Coach, Author, Legal Consultant will lead the Panel Discussion and ask deep questions that will enable participants to draw lessons and begin their own transformation journeys.

Our Moderator Juliet Nakimuli Kasiita who is the Uganda Country Manager for the Sinapis Group & Founder of  Winpreneurs Africa Limited  will keep participants entertained with the vast amount of knowledge she has amassed as she engages with women at various leadership tables.
